World’s Friendliest Airport

I live in what unfortunately is one of the unfriendliest towns in the world Boston and the airport (Logan) definitely makes my top ten for worst airports. They seem to treat everyone as a good-for-nothing criminal and it goes downhill from there. It doesn’t have to be that way.

The Munich airport has places to work and sleep. There actually are many places to charge your electronic devices, what a damn concept, eh? They actually make it so you can sleep if you have to. In Boston, they even purposely put things in the way of lying down, as though anyone actually desires to be in the stupid airport long enough to have to sleep or rest.

Here are a few photos from Munich, what all airports should aspire to.

They have paid cabinets where you can sleep in a bed, with hourly rates.

Even not in the sleep area there are seats with easy phone and computer charging ports, and you can lie down across them if necessary.

I didn't want to get closer and invade privacy, but these are remarkably comfortable S-shaped chairs for sleeping.
